Our History Mitchell Fabrics was founded more than 60 years ago in Peoria, Illinois, by Robert Favus. Initially focusing on the local and regional markets, Mitchell Fabrics (named for Robert's son, Mitchell) quickly grew and today serves customers across the nation. From the beginning, Mitchell Fabrics has offered a combination of competitively priced drapery fabrics and knowledgeable, personal service. Over the years, we have expanded beyond drapery fabrics, adding a variety of hard window coverings, window hardware, bedspread products and custom fabrication services. Our staff has an average of 12 years experience in the wholesale fabric industry, so you can count on our people for the resources you need to succeed.
